For everyone out there thats shy about including their phone number in their email signature, please consider email to be a Glengarry lead. Why is it a lead? Because email doesn’t close deals, you do! So make sure I can talk with you. Most customers will want a human to human interaction as part of their sale. Zappos built their entire business model around this assumption, and its working so well Amazon bought them.

Coffee is for closer. So take a few minutes, change your signature to include your phone number. If you’re selling things, people can now call you so that you can close them. If you’re buying, vendors can now call you and help you resolve your product issues over the phone.
